Google Snatch

POSTED BY Dave on Jul 23 under Website Building

I’ve talked about Google Snatch before. In fact, I even gave you an example of how well it worked for one of my sites. As a reminder, however, Google Snatch is an ebook filled with information, tactics and secrets that very few Internet marketers know about how to build and organize your websites so that you’ll draw free traffic from Google. Lots of free traffic.

Google Snatch is about building your websites the right way. It simple, to the point, and all white hat. Google loves it when you follow this sensible tactics.

I’m going to spend my time trying to convince you that this is valuable (and in reality, necessary for success) information. Instead, I want to invite you to get a peek for yourself. So I’ve added a pdf document to Internet Weapons that will give you a good, hard look at what Google Snatch is all about. This is a sales letter or a brief rundown of benefits. It’s the first 24 pages of the ebook.

Take a look at it. You won’t regret it.

Automate Your Content

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 18 under Website Building

We all know that content is king on the Internet. Users search for it. Web publishers provide it. And when you provide what they’re looking for, everyone’s happy.

Unfortunately, preparing unique premium content on a regular basis (which keeps the search engines happy and the visitors coming) can be incredibly demanding.

With that in mind, I wanted to share with you some alternatives that can help lift some of the burden off your shoulders without causing your search engine positioning to suffer.

1. RSS - RSS allows users to display specific files every time they are uploaded on a source website. For example, if website A generates RSS feeds to announce new articles uploaded to its server. Websites B, C, D and E are subscribed to these RSS feeds, so they can display the content of the feeds on their web pages. In order to do this, all you need is an RSS-to-HTML reader, so that the RSS feeds you will display on your pages can be readable for the search engine spiders. Now, every time the source website posts new content, it will appear on your website.

2. Create Your Own Forum - Online users normally gravitate toward forums that are dedicated to their own passions. If you attach a forum to your website, your visitors can sign up to participate. Since it’s related to a subject they’re passionate about, they’ll create threads, answer one another’s questions, post messages and generally keep the forum alive an healthy, by creating content for you. The one caveat here is that a forum with no activity will quickly die. You don’t want visitors going to your forum and finding nothing going on. They’ll leave immediately.

3. Integrate A Feedback Manager - If you’re posting articles as content, then consider including a feedback system. This enables your readers to leave comments below the articles. It’s free content … your article serves as the catalyst for content that is continuously added by interested readers who want to share their thoughts on what you’ve posted.

4. Run A Contest - Offering a prize for the visitor who submits the most engaging article relevant to the subject of your website is a wonderful way to encourage your visitors to submit entries that you can use as your own content. Just remember that your contest rules should include a term which states that submitted entries can be published on your website as a condition to their inclusion in the contest.

5. Run A Mini-Article Directory - Try to visit Ezine Articles or Go Articles. See how these websites ensure themselves of an abundant supply of great content? Simply follow their model, and implement the same on your website. An article directory is relatively easy to set up, and you won’t have to struggle to get a flood of fresh daily content.

My Free Website Builder - Review

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 10 under Website Building

I have to confess … I’ve been using Microsoft’s FrontPage to do my html editing and website building for years now. They’ve recently phased it out. It’s been replaced with another program which is more sophisticated than I’ll never need.

FrontPage was always a nightmare anyway. Very quirky. If I wanted to edit a piece of code, I always had to run it through a text editor first, otherwise the html would be a mess of unreadable and unnecessary code. In addition, I’ve heard that for some reason Google seems to dislike FrontPage code, which can hurt your page rank in the long run.

That aside, I finally started to try other html editors and one after another, for some reason or another, I came away unhappy with them. Until last week, I tried My Free Website Builder.

I wish this had been around before I purchased FrontPage. I would have saved hundreds of dollars and hundreds of frustrated hours. This is an incredibly easy html editor that does everything you’ll need, unless you’re building extremely complex websites. Any simple template website … this is your tool.

It’s wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) set up makes tables, text, and image editing a cinch. Plus it comes with easy step-by-step video instructions, over 100+ in-built website templates, and instant one-click website publishing. It really is a gem of a program.

Best of all … it’s free.

Try it for yourself. You’ve got nothing to lose. Within a few short minutes you’ll be a pro at building a website, you won’t have to know any html code.

See what you think: My Free Website Builder

Google Snatch - Review

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 3 under Website Building

I was looking around, trying to find a system for setting up a website that will maximize it’s Google position, draw plenty of organic traffic, and help me avoid having to turn to Google Adwords for help. It’s a goal many of us have. If you can possibly put yourself in a good search engine position without having to spend a fortune on driving traffic … well, that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

In my search, I came across Google Snatch and picked up a copy.

Quite honestly, it was the most helpful information on putting together a traffic-drawing website that I’d ever read. If … and this was a big if … it worked.

There was only one way to find out. So, I built a website using the techniques I’d learned, uploaded everything and moved on to other projects. I didn’t give it much thought until a couple months later when I thought I’d check and see how it was doing on Google.

I was stunned.

For my first keyword, nitty gritty marketing, I was on page one in the fourth position. For my second keyword, nitty gritty marketing review, I was on the second page in the second position. And for my third keyword, join nitty gritty marketing, I was on page one in the third position. While other marketers were paying Adwords fees to get in similar positions, I was there for free.

Here’s the website: Nitty Gritty Marketing Success

Check out how it’s doing for those search terms, if you’d like. It’s even got a page rank of 3, though I haven’t touched a word on the site since day one.

It should be all the evidence you need in order to be convinced that Google Snatch works. You’ll learn how to build mini-sites that target a niche and draw natural traffic without having to spend money on Adwords or dedicate your life to adding new content every week.

Give it a try and let me know how well it did for you: Google Snatch
