You see, it’s relatively easy for someone who knows what they’re doing to be able to uncover your download page when you’re selling a product or giving away a freebie. In fact, in a manner of hours after making a product available for sale, the download page URL is often being shared all over the Internet.
There are programs out there that will lock and unlock your ebooks, but these are generally a little more expensive. We’ll talk about some of them in a future post. For now, though, I’ve come across an alternative that will protect your download URL without costing you a penny.
