Private Label Rights
Many Internet marketers cringe at the idea of writing an article or a blog post. Some feel that they just aren’t very good at writing, while others simply hate the process.
Unfortunately, writing (in one form or another) is still the foundation of the Internet.
However, for those who hate to do it, whether or not it’s the foundation, there is an alternative … private label rights (often referred to as PLR) articles. These are articles, as well as full-blown ebooks, that you can edit and rewrite and generally make your own.
Can you take a PLR article and slap it up on your website or send it out to a bunch of article directories without doing a rewrite? Yes, but it would be an effort in futility. The best article directories will see it for what it is and reject. And if you place it on your website, Google will deem it as duplicate content (because hundreds of other Internet marketers took the short path and just stuck it up on their websites) and give it no value.
So you must rewrite PLR material.
Isn’t this the same as writing your own articles? No at all. If you struggle with writing, a PLR article will still provide you with valuable information for your own article, trigger new ideas about what to include, and give you a basic structure for your article. So, at their very worst, PLR articles can provide you with an great jumping off point, and help make the writing process much, much easier.
