Marketing Strategy Example - Continued
Here are five more marketing strategy examples that you can use to help maximize your sales. I’m sure you’ve seen these in your own online experience, but sometimes it’s esay to overlook the obvious. What I suggest you do is find those strategies that interest you and implement them into your sales process, then test, test, test.
1. The One Time Price Strategy - alerts your prospects to the fact that if they purchase your product now, they’ll avoid having to pay a recurring fee in the future. As in most of these strategies, you’re offering as many incentives to buy now as possible. If you’ve got a product that is of interest, this strategy may be enough to do the job. Few people want to end up paying recurring fees when they can avoid it. By the way, it helps if you can set an actual date when your product will switch to a subscription model.
2. The Success Example Strategy - offer your prospect specific examples of people who have benefitted from your product. For example, one person doubled his income in two months. Or … one person grew roses that won the county fair competition. These can be presented as benefit bullets in your sales letter or even actual testimonials.
3. The JV Partner Strategy - it can be very enticing, especially if you’re marketing to someone who is new to your niche, to offer a bonus in which they can become one of your personal JV partners if they purchase your product. This allows them to act much as an affiliate, only with a bigger piece of the pie, and promote your product. Everyone wins. Just make sure you supply them with all the tools they need to succeed.
4. The Imagine Strategy - this is a copywriter’s strategy … in your sales letter, you nudge them to imagine enjoying all the benefits of your product. In fact, since most people won’t purchase the first time they see your sales letter, you can suggest that they do their imagining tonight when they’re in bed, staring at the ceiling. This will help to keep your message on their mind long after they’ve left your sales page.
5. The Much Harder Alone Strategy - makes sure your prospects understand that the benefits of your product will make it far easier to achieve whatever the goal is by using your product rather than going it alone. People want easy. So make an effort to demonstrate how much easier your product makes things and how much harder they’ll be if the prospect tries to take them on by himself.
I’ll continue to post more of these strategies over the coming weeks and months. Hope you find them useful.
