Affiliate Marketing Reports

There were a couple of affiliate marketing-related short reports released this week. I thought you might like a quick overview of both before you decide whether or not they’re right for you.

The first one I took a look at was the one that intrigued me the most: Two Minute Profits.  This was written by Alok Jain, and the idea behind this affiliate marketing technique was new to me. It’s founded on a system that’s designed to use Adwords in such a manner that you find yourself with little or no competition.

While the system is simple and straightforward (and I was definitely excited about trying it), I spent three or four hours in search of the right ingredients that make the system work. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to isolate the correct circumstances.  Now, this isn’t to say they don’t exist or that they’ve already all been claimed, but it was certainly apparent that more than two minutes were required.

I do intend to return to the system again and work longer on trying to uncover the correct conditions (which are clearly set down in the report) for a successful campaign. I think it has real potential. However, I am disappointed that this approach appears to be more time consuming than I had originally hoped.

The second affiliate marketing report I came across this week is Affiliate Commandments. This report was put together by same guy who brought you Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer. In a way, it’s an extension of those guides. Inside, you’ll discover six unique and effective approaches to affiliate marketing.

Now, these are great approaches, well explained as long as you have some sense of what affiliate marketing and Adwords are all about. They may be over the head of those who are brand new to affiliate marketing, though the program does include a second ebook which explains the basics.

You won’t find any quick hits here. Most of these commandments require a little thought and effort. However, they’re rock solid and if you follow the information provided you’ll not only establish a great foundation for your affiliate efforts, you’ll also make money along the way.
